LIFE, the beginning and the end...
one guru once said "the cause of death is birth". Last Sunday was an opportunity to celebrate LIFE itself. Alvin attended two occassions, a baptism, and a funeral. The day started very early. The city of Dagupan gave a necrological service to Former Councilor Miguel Tandoc Caguioa, who was part of the city council for ten fruitful years. Commissioner Al Fernandez of the Bureau of Immigration gave the first eulogy. Councilor Caguioa was first elected as councilor in 1988 with then Vice mayor Al Fernandez. In 1995 and 1998 when he ran and won as council member, he served under then Mayor Al Fernandez. Mama Miguel as fondly called by the people, was a man who practiced what he preached, as a dedicated servant of the Lord. He was a principled public servant and a man who believes that his worth in life is measured by how much he has contributed in spreading the word of the LORD. In another occasion, Alvin was invited to be a GodFather to Ysia Bolinas Bautista. Ysia is the daughter of Ed and Joy Bautista of Bolosan, Dagupan City.
