Alvin with the Judges of the Cheer Dance Showdown

Judges for the Cheer Dance showdown were imported from De La Salle University where Alvin graduated from with a degree of B.S. Industrial Management minor in Chemical Engineering. With him are Prof. Rommel Billena from the College of Engineering and Prof. Evangeline Andaya from the College of Education and Prof. Joseph Padilla of SLU Baguio.

The judges were invited by the Department of Education Sports Supervisor Edilberto Abalos. Joining the group in blue is Dr. Edwin Aguirre, representing the Rotary Club of Dagupan which also contributed, for the success of the affair.

Vice Mayor Fernandez is well loved by the people of Dagupan that he was unopposed when he ran for reelection in May 2004. He is now the president of Rotary and VMLP Pangasinan Chapter and National Exec.Vice Pres. of VMLP. He was recently invited by the President to the Consultative Commission and now seats as one of its commissioners. The Vice Mayor skillfully steered the City Council into passing vital measures on public order and safety, social welfare, health, sanitation and environment, which benefits the people of the city. In April 2003, he led a city government delegation to Milpitas City in California and signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the Sister City Relations. He was later invited by the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations as a Resource Person for the Local Government Exchange Seminar in Tokyo, Japan. He was one of the country's delegates to Sarawak, Malaysia for the Healthy Cities Convention. Alvin is an industrial management minor in chemical engineering graduate from the De La Salle University. He is happily married to Katherine Sto. Domingo, with whom he has three lovely children, Katrina, Anton and Lucky.
