Ed Buenaflor, League of Cities Executive Assistant of Mayor Gerry Trenas- President of LCP, recently visited the city of dagupan to coordinate with City Administrator Raffy Baraan regarding projects for launching by the league. It was at this time that he met with Acting City Mayor Alvin. The three had a conversation and the topic of computerization arose. It was at this time that Alvin invited Mr. Buenaflor to see the computerize system the Sangguniang Panlungsod is utilizing.
Ed Buenaflor was happy to see for himself the gadgets used at the SP and the benefit it gives the city. The new system is evolving to be a paperless session for the SP of Dagupan. Likewise, Ed was surprise to see the biometric timekeeping system backed by video cameras the SP uses for monitoring attendance of its employees.
Ed shall be campaigning for the adoption of such a system to be promoted by the LCP through its president, Mayor Gerry Trenas of Ilo-Ilo City.
