The 9th meeting of the Rotary Club of Dagupan was somewhat different. Rotarians were all treated with Torres Brandy from 5years to 12years through its marketing specialist in Dagupan, Mr. Bernard Bacod. Personally, I enjoyed the sweet taste of the brandy and we intend to stock some for our future regular meetings. Thank you very much Bernard.
The club's guest speaker was the multi awarded Colonel Pedro Tabangay who is currently in charge of the army reservist of pangasinan. His talk which was backed by a multi media presentation was very enlightening on the insurgency situation that our country is facing. His talk lasted for more than 40 minutes but the rotarians were all ears as the topic directly affects the life of everyone. He is appealing to all abled bodied citizen to participate in
the reservist program so that our government could be ready for any situation that may call US to be of service to our country. I am now rethinking on whether to continue my status as a navy citizen's military training reserve or transfer to the Army.
With Colonel Tabangay heading the Army Reservist of Pangasinan, I may join Councilor Joey Tamayo as an Army Reservist.
