The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Dagupan is simulating a proceeding wherein it would be possible for VM Alvin to be physically away from the legislative hall but still be able to preside over the session. Larry Munoz, the VM's technical staff is currently testing the system with VM Alvin to see if the system would be able to handle the normal flow of traffic that a regular session has. The system will entail two cameras facing the floor so the VM could have complete peripheral vision of the floor as he were in his table at the center of the hall. From his computer which is physically away from the actual meeting place, the Vice mayor through NetMeeting shall be able to see and preside over a regular or special session. The system is being experimented simply to show what potentials the new system of the Sanggunian could accomplish.
