The 8th regular meeting last August 24 of the Rotary Club of Dagupan was presided over by its President, Vice Mayor Alvin Fernandez, who went straight to the RCD meeting from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport after his arrival from the US that day. Scheduled for the night were classification talks by VP/PE Jess Romero, a retired anesthesiologist from Illinois, USA and Rotarian Augusto Sarmiento, network operations manager of the Dagupan Electric Corporation. s in the USA for a speaking engagement. PP/Sec Edwin Aguirre reported that 77 units of blood were collected during the joint bloodletting project of Rotary Club of Dagupan, Army Reservists, Philippine National Red Cross, Inner Wheel Club of Dagupan, Pangasinan Medical Society, and Spectrum Communications. Rotarian Councilor Joey Tamayo donated one unit; Assistant Gov. for Cluster 2b, Irene Libunao, also shed one unit during the activity.
