Goodbye, Eddie

EDDIE CRISOLOGO is gone. He has left for a blissful journey to eternity without saying the usual goodbye. He has left all of us to join his Creator. A man who has touched so many lives, Eddie Crisologo was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He was a shining example of a family man and a loving husband. A consummate marketing man, Eddie Crisologo takes pride in the national fame that the Plato Wraps has achieved. Yet, he humbly downplays that it was his marketing genius that has turned the certified original Dagupan product into a household byword. In his articles, his words were full of inspiration, full of lessons to ponder and to learn from. He was a man full of ideas to share and experience to learn from. He was so full of optimism -- always focusing on the good that could be derived from any situation. Like him, his articles will be missed. He was such a man who stirred people to reach their full potentials; a man who contributed much of his talent to Rotary that he loved so much. Eddie Crisologo was a jolly fellow who makes Rotarians laugh with his every anecdote. He shall forever live in us with the lessons he has imparted through the Rotary and the Jaycees. He was such a good friend and I will never forget him. He was my Guest of Honor and Speaker when I was inducted as President of the Dagupan Jaycees, Inc. He was my adviser in the RCD and he has advised me well enough on what to focus on in our Club. Now that Eddie Crisologo is gone, let his laughter echo in every Rotary meeting; let his words of wisdom reverberate in our every discussion. Let his life inspire us to do good and in our hearts allow him to live forever. Goodbye, dear friend.
