Today's regular session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod was more of an update on the river system of the city. The SP received and inquiry from concerned fisherfolks as regards to the condition of the water in several coastal barangays.
Hence, communications were sent to the following:
1. Ltr. invitations to the following, as specified hereunder, to attend the regular session, to shed light on the status of the fishery ordinance, the demolition of fishpens, the regulation of feeds, and the reported discoloration of water in the river traversing Bacayao Sur and Norte, Bonuan Gueset, Binloc, Pogo Grande and Chico, to wit:
a. City Agriculturist;
b. PENR Officer;
c. CENR Officer;
d. Center Chief, BFAR;
e. General Manager, DCWD;
f. City Health Officer; and
g. Mr. Reggie Ubando, WMD
2. Ltr. invitation to the City Planning and Development Officer, this city, to attend the regular session, to shed light on the status of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and the recently enacted Zoning Ordinance.
Attending the session are Emma Molina- City Agriculturist, Engr. Valle- DCWD, Manny Palaganas- City Planning, Dr. Leo Carbonel- City Health Office, Reggie Ubando- Waste Management.
Also in attendance is Col. Ed Basbas, Chief of Police of Dagupan.
