The Hundred Islands Park under the Philippine Tourism Authority was formally transferred to the administration of the Alaminos City Government under Mayor Nani Braganza. September 29 is a historic day for Pangasinan and its people.
Acting Mayor Alvin Fernandez attended the event, believing in the importance and potential impact it would have on the province. Alvin looks forward to the future developments of the Islands Park. Mayor Braganza has started campaigning for local and international investors that could make the park an eco-tourism location that could give five star accomodations.
The city of Dagupan shall greatly benefit from any endeavour promoting the park, as it shall serve as a jump off point to the islands pending the development of Hotels and other infrastructures that could accomodate the influx of local and international tourist.
