Acting Mayor commends the different organizations that had help in the rescue operations at the Tondaligan Beach last April 15th.
The operations of the PNP, Red Cross, City Government and Deltacom and other volunteers was a success. Professional lifeguards were able to resucitate a drowning victim to consciousness. Red Cross was instrumental in this life saving moment.
SP Chairman on Tourism Councilor Joey Tamayo and the Deltacom were able to save two lives who rode a salbabida when they notice this two beachgoers waving their hands signalling that they have lost control going back to shore. Robert Tello, president of Deltacom together with Councilor Tamayo immediately got a motorboat and rescued the drifters.
