Vegetable and fruits nursery on BGY4 MRF

VM Alvin Fernandez has requested the Department of Agriculture to provide seedlings and technology to Bgy4 to serve as a pilot barangay for the production of living vegetables in the neighborhood. The seedlings shown are just three days old which proves how fertile and suitable compost is for vegetation. The vice mayor together with Chairman Teody have started making arrangements to begin a butterfly garden on the MRF site. In Manila, the use of butterflies on weddings and other occassions have prospered. The butterfly garden shall not only bring beautyto the MRF but also providefor alternative source of living. Barangay Chairman Teody Macasieb joined by kagawads are all excited for the potential of their MRF Nursery. With this project available living vegetables shall abound in the streets of said barangay.

Binmaley Professionals Night

VM Alvin in his capacity as Rotary president was recently invited to be one of the guests of the Professionals Night of the Binmaley Town Fiesta. He was warmly received by Mayor Sammy Rosario of the said town. Jun Javier president of the Binmaley Rotary Century Club did an outstanding job as the night chairman of the affair.

Pangasinan Bonsai Society

Mike Morden of the Pangasinan Bonsai Society has invited Board Member Eskimo Estrella and VM Alvin Fernandez to be their special guests. With VM alvin is Mr. David Du, their resource speaker on bonsai artistry.

MBSL and VM Alvin leads turnover of MRF to Barangays

Mayor Benjamin S. Lim and Vice Mayor Alipio Alvin Fernandez leads turnover of MRF in 4 barangays. Barangay Bonuan Binloc represented by Chairman Pedro Gonzales and kagawads, Boquig represented by Chairman Boy Aquino and kagawads, Gueset by Chairman Rico Mejia and kagawads and Barangay 1 represented by Chairman Capdok Rosal and kagawads. Each of the 31 barangays of the city will be receiving 1million pesos from the city to be disbursed subject to the barangays discretion for the construction and operation of their Material Recovery Facility. Also in attendance are Councilors Joey Tamayo- Chairman on Tourism, Nick Aquino- Chairman on Environment, Charise Perez- Chairman on Youth.

Sasmuan Pampangga goes lakbay Aral in Dagupan

The officials of Sasmuan, Pampangga visited Dagupan for their Bangus Lakbay Aral Program. Sasmuan has an area of 3,500 Hectares of which 90% is dedicated to fish farming. Heading the delegation is Mayor Carolina Bagasin and Vice Mayor Alex Panlaqui.
